We ask for a work email. You may also give your company, role, product area, approximate number of formulas, and next notification timing. After you join, you may tell us where you heard about UFI Number. We record your product-updates choice, the time you joined, the page and link used to reach the form, and the referring site's hostname. The form does not ask for formulation content, a VAT number, company key or UFI.

We use these details to maintain the waitlist, assess fit for early access and pilots, and respond to your request. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in managing the private beta and responding to people who ask to join. You can object by emailing us. We use the separate, unchecked product-updates choice as consent for occasional product news. Product updates will not be sent until an email confirmation and unsubscribe process is in place. You can withdraw that choice by emailing us.

The email is required to join. The other answers and the product-updates choice are optional. If you do not provide an email, we cannot add you to the waitlist.

The UFI generator, checker and decoder process the values you enter in your browser. Tool inputs are not included in waitlist submissions or analytics events. The website processes ordinary request information to serve pages and prevent abuse. The waitlist route uses a hash derived from the visitor's IP address for rate limiting and logs a short token derived from the email to trace delivery errors. It does not write the raw IP address into the waitlist sheet. This security processing is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and protecting the form.

If analytics is configured, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity load on public pages only after you select Accept. Google Analytics may also run through the tag manager. They can receive usage information such as the pages you visit, your device and online identifiers. Form and tool panels are masked from Clarity. Rejecting analytics does not stop you using the site. We store your choice in a site cookie for 180 days. Our legal basis for optional analytics is your consent.

You can change your analytics choice on this page. A new choice takes effect after the page reloads. Browser settings can remove cookies already set by analytics providers.

Waitlist entries are stored in a Google Sheet accessible to the people administering the waitlist. Hosting providers process the requests needed to deliver and secure the site. If you accept analytics, Google and Microsoft can process analytics data. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Ask us for information about the safeguards that apply to a particular transfer.

We keep waitlist data while it is needed to manage invitations and the launch notice. We then delete or de-identify it unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. If you ask to leave the waitlist, we will remove your entry unless a limited record is needed to honour your request or meet a legal obligation. Security hashes are used for a ten-minute rate-limit window and cleared from memory on later requests or when the server restarts. Hosting and analytics providers apply their own retention periods to data they process.

You may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive a portable copy where the law provides that right. You may withdraw consent to product updates or analytics at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before it. Email us to exercise a right or to leave the waitlist.

You may also complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate in Lithuania or to the data protection authority where you live or work. See the Inspectorate's services page for its complaint route.

We will update this page when the way the public site handles data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
